Zimbabwe's Econet says data, mobile money offset revenue fall

HARARE May 21 Econet Wireless, Zimbabwe's top mobile operator, said revenue from data and mobile money services surged 56 percent to $164 million in the year to February, helping to offset a decline in voice service income.

Econet Chief Finance Officer Roy Chimanikire said on Thursday in a briefing to analysts that total revenue was down one percent to $746 million from 2014.
