Zebra Finch Behavioral Study Attempts To Connect Birdsong With Human Speech Patterns

He hopes that this study will help him, and his research team, better understand why alcohol affects birdsong and then, ultimately, how and why alcohol affects human speech patterns. “We really don’t know why alcohol affects human speech patterns and how it acts in the brain,” Olson explained.
