When A-list directors want to break news regarding their massive superhero tentpole films, they naturally are going to do it on 97.1 FM The Ticket in Detroit. OK, so Zack Snyder is really the only director who has done that before (as far as we know), and based on the incredulous voices of the sports-talk hosts on this station, they were equally surprised and probably afraid of being punked when Snyder called in to their program to defend Aquaman.
You really have to listen to the whole interview, to get a better sense of how surreal it was that Snyder bothered to call a sports-talk radio and discuss Aquaman. It is cool, but he spent half the call convincing the hosts that he really was who he said that he was. Listen to the full call here.
