Youth Exposure to E-cigarettes Has Skyrocket In Last Years

The exposure of youth to television advertisements for E-cigarettes has led to a dramatic increase in the consumption of this product, according to a new report released Monday. The report also showed that marketing has increased during programming that caters to adolescents and young adults.

According to a research printed in Journal Pediatrics, young people ages 12 to 17, exposure to e-cigarettes has increased 256 percent from 2011 to 2013, and for young adults ages 18 to 24 jumped 321 percent during the same period.
