Young Museum Park Cafe shows spirit and promise

At not quite 3 months old, Museum Park Cafe has a bit of coltishness to it. With chef Justin Basye at the helm and Chris Leung superintending the desserts, the restaurant is still a youngster, kicking up its heels in its lofty, notably spare space, suddenly balking, then breaking into a steady canter that promises good things to come.

It's great to see Basye's tall, shy, shambling form back working the pass at a restaurant - his own restaurant, no less - after a couple of years spent working in a corporate position for the Pappas restaurant group.
