WWII vets to appear at ‘Unbroken’ screening

World War II veteran Fiske Hanley of Fort Worth got to attend a Hollywood premiere. He watched Unbroken, a film about the late Japanese POW Louis Zamperini. Hanley was held captive in the same Japanese camp as Zamperini.

Hanley served in the Pacific theater of World War II, flying missions in a Boeing B-29. His plane was shot down over Japan in early 1945, and he was taken prisoner by the Kempeitai military police.
