World’s Biggest Marine Insect Species Discovered in China

The biggest aquatic insect in the world was found in Sichuan province in China, expert says.

A report from the Insect Museum of West China said local residents in the outskirts of Chengdu turned over earlier this month some giant dobsonflies that have 8.3-inch wingspans. The species also has snake-like fangs and terrifying pincers.
