Workout mixes drumming and full-body cardio

Cristina Peerenboom and Kirsten Potenza share a passion for fitness and drumming. It’s only natural that the athletes created the Pound workout, a full-body exercise that combines light resistance, cardio and drumming— and can burn up to 900 calories in a single 45-minute class.

“From 360 degrees all around your body, you’re toning, you’re tightening, you’re targeting areas that are really difficult to target,” Potenza said.
