The first is the story of worldly, pre-war Vienna, a beating heart of European culture finally stilled under Nazi oppression.

The second is the story of Maria Altmann, the Viennese refugee who, some 60 years later, fought to get back the paintings - some, glorious Klimts -- that regime had stolen from her family.
