Winner of the Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award will be screened in Ann Arbor

The Michigan Theater recently announced that, thanks to its strong relationship with the Sundance Film Festival - executive director Russ Collins heads up the affiliated ArtHouse Convergence, which happens each year just before SFF kicks off in Utah - the Ann Arbor theater will get to screen a new Sundance selection, "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl," on Thursday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m., on the heels of the movie's world premiere at this year's fest (which wrapped on Sunday).

But in the interim, since that news broke, "Me and Earl" swept both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award on Saturday night, at a ceremony hosted by comedian Tig Notaro in Park City, Utah.
