When Kanye West streamed his new album The Life of Pablo exclusively with TIDAL, the streaming service got a huge boost. And today, we now know exactly how huge. The Life of Pablo was streamed 250 million times in its first 10 days, boosting TIDAL's global subscriptions to over three million, the service announced in a press release.
Billboard reports that not only were listeners compelled enough by Kanye's album to pay for TIDAL, but they paid extra. 45 percent of TIDAL's subscribers pay for its $19.99 high fidelity service, which is twice the price of its cheapest subscription.
