Whale Sharks, World's Largest Fish, Head towards a New Home

Whale shark, the biggest living species of fish, may use volcanic islands off the western coast of Europe as a new home. Since, the sea surface temperature continues to rise, the whale sharks are moving in search of foods. In recent times, fishermen have spotted the large whale sharks around the Azores islands.

It is the climate change that makes whale sharks move to waters with right temperature. Alike, white sharks, whale sharks are gentle giants. They use rows of teeth as filter to take out small creatures for meals in the flowing water.
