"Weird Loners" executive producer Michael J. Weithorn points out that the title of the new Fox comedy is meant to be ironic.

That's good. Had this been a 30-minute series about being alone, there wouldn't have been much interaction between the characters played by Becki Newton, Zachary Knighton, Nate Torrence and Meera Rohit Kumbhani.
