Weight Training more effective in reducing Rate of Expanding Waistlines

A new study has revealed that regular weight training helps more effectively in reducing the rate of waistline expansion that is common in men as they age. Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health have found that a heart-thumping, high-octane spinning class or long run outdoors are good to have in your exercise regime to burn plenty of calories. However, aerobic exercise is not a very good way to keep a check on expanding waistline.

Published Monday in the journal Obesity, the study showed that 20 minutes of weight training per day is a good measure to reduce extra weight around midriff.
