Weight-loss surgery might reduce the frequency of asthma attacks in obese people suffering from the respiratory condition, according to the results of a recent research.

A team of medical researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston gathered data from approximately 2,300 obese patients from California, Nebraska and Florida. The things they had in common were that they all suffered from asthma and had weight reduction surgery until 2009.
