This week’s poll: Air pollution in the UK

It’s been reported that environmental law firm ClientEarth is threatening legal action against the UK government on air pollution. Around 40,000 people are estimated to die prematurely every year in the UK because of bad air quality, and ClientEarth claims government policy on diesel vehicles is significantly contributing to the problem. Under current policy, EU health standards won’t be met across most of the UK until 2020, with London following in 2025.
