Wayne high schools' students join forces to raise funds for cancer research

WAYNE — For one weekend, Wayne’s high schools set aside their rivalry for a common cause: ending cancer.

From Saturday afternoon to 6 a.m. Sunday, hundreds of students from Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley high schools came together — tossing Frisbees and footballs amid thumping music — for the eighth annual Relay for Life at Wayne Valley’s track and field, normally the site of heated athletic contests.
