For about 25 minutes, astronomers were able to see three of the four Galilean moons — Io, Europa, and Callisto — at once as they crossed Jupiter’s surface.

Jupiter’s moons gave astronomers quite a show recently, as three of them all cast their shadows on the planet’s surface at the same time in a rare event.
