Washington Post journalist faces trial in Iran on espionage charges

Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian, who has been detained in Iran since July 2014, will face trial for espionage, “collaboration with hostile governments,” and other charges, his lawyer told AFP.

His lawyer, Leila Ahsan, also told AFP that there is “no justifiable proof” to support the charges against her client, whose trial does not yet have a date.
