Walmart (WMT) shares plunged sharply Wednesday after the U.S. retailing giant forecast a 6% to 12% earnings drop in fiscal year 2017.
Shares of the Bentonville, Ark. company were down 8.7% at $60.90 on the news Walmart executives delivered as they provided strategic outlook and growth plans for the future at an annual investors conference.
