Vitamin D Supplements Ineffective For High Blood Pressure

A latest research printed in Journal JAMA shows that Vitamin D supplements are futile when it comes to lowering blood pressure. The analysis of examined blood pressure data of 4,541 people from 46 different clinical trials reveals that there is no connection between Vitamin D and blood pressure level. Thus, it is recommended that doctors should not prescribe them as antihypertensive. Previously, a few researches claimed that Vitamin supplements significantly control blood pressure in human body.
