High frequency trading firm Virtu Financial Inc. hopes to raise as much as $314.1 million in an initial public offering of common shares, according to a regulatory filing Monday.
The New York-based company plans to publicly offer just over 16.5 million shares at between $17 and $19 apiece. At the upper end, that would raise $314.1 million. The offering's underwriters would also get an option to buy just under 2.5 million additional shares.
