Vernal Equinox marks the start of spring

The first day of the spring in northern hemispheres called as Vernal Equinox falls on Friday. This year is marked by three natural phenomenons falling on the same day namely the solar eclipse, vernal equinox and a Supermoon.

Supermoon implies that the moon is at the closest distance to the earth. A supermoon can appear 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter.
