Vermont turkey health survey underway

The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is asking for help from the public during the month of August to gauge how well the state’s turkey flock is reproducing.

Biologists are asking people who see a group of young turkeys in Vermont this month to visit the turkey brood survey site on the department’s website and record where, when and how many adult and young turkeys, or poults, were observed.
