Venus’s surface once comprised of oceans of CO2

Researchers have found that the surface of Venus once had oceans unlike Earth as they were filled with liquid carbon dioxide rather than water.

A study led by Dima Bolmatov of the Cornell University has suggested that the surface of the planet might have once filed with oceans of liquid carbon dioxide.
