The researchers of Cornell University discovered that Venus once possess oceans filled with liquid. The atmosphere of Venus is approximately 90 times more powerful as compared to the Earth’s atmosphere. Earlier, the atmosphere of the second nearest planet of the sun is expected to be more immense than the current one. Such kind of weather never allows water molecules to survive on the planet. Carbon dioxide is probably the only compound that can battle with the weather conditions of Venus. Hence, 96 percent of Venus’s atmosphere is loaded with carbon dioxide gas. Furthermore, the study reveals that these oceans of carbon dioxide shaped the outer surface of planet.

Despite being considered a hellish planet, Venus may have had oceans just like Earth’s. Oceans of carbon dioxide fluid, researchers say.
