Vaccinations Required For Ohio State University Students

In response to a mumps outbreak which sickened roughly 500 people on campus last year, Ohio State University is now requiring students to provide proof of vaccination shots for diseases deemed vaccine-preventable.

Twenty-six states across the U.S. require vaccination for students, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), but Ohio isn’t one of them.
