Vaccination Rates in Local Schools

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The recent measles outbreak that has affected 14 states across the country has sparked a national debate over whether children should be required to get vaccinated before enrolling in school.

The Centers for Disease Control has set a goal of having 95% of kindergartners receive the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccination before beginning school.
