Utah Reaches Lowest Abortion Rate In Forty Years

The abortion rate in the state of Utah is on a swift decline. As a matter of fact, last year set a record for the lowest abortion rate in the state since they started tracking statistics like this after the landmark Roe v Wade decision of 1973.

President of the National Right to Life, Carol Tobias claims that restrictive abortion laws—including one in Utah which requires a 72-hour abortion waiting period—may be responsible for the decline.
