A new study has found that use of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) doubled between 1996 and 2012, but according to researchers, the method is not more effective than conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection is an assisted reproduction technique for male infertility. Back in 1992, intracytoplasmic sperm injection was first introduced as a way to treat sperm-related infertility problems.
