US Spies Struggle With Intel 'Gap' On Ground in Syria

The United States suffers from an intelligence "gap" on the ground in Syria, which has stymied the government's ability to track Western foreign fighters, including Americans, fighting there with ISIS and al Qaeda's affiliate, senior U.S. counter-terrorism officials told lawmakers today.
