US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz announces HPC Awards

US Secretary of Energy, Ernest Moniz, announced two new High Performance Computing (HPC) awards with an aim to put the nation on a fast-track to next generation exascale computing. This will aid to advance US leadership in scientific research and support America's economic and national security.

Moniz made announcement of $325 million to construct two state-of-the-art supercomputers at the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.
