US Census Bureau State Population Estimates Released

According to estimates released by US Census Bureau state population on December 23, Florida has now crossed New York to become the nation's third most populous state. On an average, there was an addition of 803 new residents each day between July 1, 2013, and July 1, 2014.

Estimations done by the bureau have revealed that Florida's population grew by 293,000 over this period and it has now reached 19.9 million. The population of New York on the other hand has increased by 51,000 to 19.7 million.
