US approves growth of lake sanctuary DETROIT –

In northern Michigan the Thunder Bay National- Marine- Sanctuary has received centralized approval to expand its size nearly multiple and boost the preservation of uncountable sunken vessels in a region of Huron once called “Shipwreck Alley.”

Thunder-Bay, the one and only spanking new national sanctuary, announced this Friday that the President Obama administration approved the years-in-the-making effort to grow from regarding four 50 sq. miles to 4,300 sq. miles.
