Under Armour enlists model Gisele Bundchen in effort to appeal to more women

Under Armour Inc., the athletic-apparel company that got its start catering to football players, has hired supermodel Gisele Bundchen to promote its products, aiming to appeal more to women.

The Baltimore-based company released a YouTube clip today of Bundchen stretching in Under Armour workout gear, saying it had signed the model and hinting at new products coming on Sept. 4. Diane Pelkey, a spokeswoman for Under Armour, didn’t respond to requests for comment.
