'Unacceptable': San Rafael nurses lend voices to Kaiser strike

A crowd of striking nurses, dressed in red, waved picket signs and chanted as passing cars honked their horns outside the Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center on Tuesday.

The Marin nurses are participating in a two-day strike, Tuesday and Wednesday, along with nearly 20,000 registered nurses and nurse practitioners at 86 other Kaiser Permanente hospitals and clinics.
