UN staff killed in attack on peacekeeping convoy in northern Mali: Ban Ki Moon

UNITED NATIONS (AFP) - A United Nations employee was killed on Tuesday (Nov 25) in an attack on a peacekeeping convoy in northern Mali, Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon said.

The attackers used explosives on the road from Goundam to Timbuktu where the vehicles from the UN MINUSMA force were travelling, he said.
