Ugandan shilling steady, seen under pressure on liquidity injection

KAMPALA, April 24 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was stable on Friday after the central bank injected local currency liquidity into the interbank market but the local currency was expected to weaken on emerging dollar demand.

At 0839 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,000/3,010, little changed from Thursday's close of 2,995/3,005.
