UA Takes Integrated Approach to Suicide Prevention

A systematic, multilevel approach to suicide prevention is used by the University of Arizona to address one of the most important health concerns on college campuses.

Since the 2011 launch of Project Lifeline, a campuswide suicide prevention initiative funded at $306,000 by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, more than 4,100 UA students and employees have been trained in suicide prevention.
