U.S. Supreme Court denies stay to Georgia death row inmate

The U.S. Supreme Court late Tuesday refused to intervene in the case of Warren Lee Hill, a death row inmate with a mild intellectual disability who is scheduled to be executed within minutes.

Earlier in the day, Hill was denied clemency by a Georgia parole board. His execution is set for 7 p.m. local time.
