U.S. Stocks Extend Losses as European Shares Sell Off

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- U.S. stocks extended losses on Friday afternoon, following European shares lower as Greece debt talks come down to the wire and changes in Chinese market regulation spooked markets.

A series of poor earnings from the likes of American Express (AXP - Get Report) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) also hurt stocks and prompted worries over first-quarter performance for companies in the S&P 500.
