The U.S. Ski team is mourning the loss of two young up-and-comers who were killed in an avalanche in Austria on Monday.
Ronnie Berlack, 20, of Burke Mountain, Vermont, and Bryce Astle, 19, of Sandy, Utah, were development-level ski racers with the U.S. Ski Team, and among six athletes who were freeskiing at the Alpine resort of Sölden when the slide hit – the four others managed to ski to safety.
