WASHINGTON U.S. Navy helicopters rescued four people safely after an Army reconnaissance plane made an emergency landing in Iraq on Saturday, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday, quoting the Navy's top admiral.

The mission was launched from Irbil in northern Iraq, Admiral John Richardson said, according to the newspaper.
