U.S. stock-index futures dropped on concern China’s woes will hamper the global economic recovery.
Standard & Poor’s 500 Index E-mini contracts expiring in September declined 0.7 percent to 2,065 at 7:40 a.m. in New York and slid as much as 1.3 percent. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 132 points, or 0.8 percent, to 17,223.
