The United States and Cuba hold the second round of negotiations on Friday to reestablish diplomatic relations after a 50-year freeze.
The day-long meeting will be held at the State Department in Washington and focus on challenges that remain before each country can establish an embassy in the other's capital. Given the long, acrimonious relationship between the two, American diplomats say that won't be easy.
