LONDON - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was "arbitrarily detained" by the United Kingdom and Sweden since he was arrested in Dec. 2010, a United Nations panel announced on Friday.

The group called on Sweden and Britain “to end Mr. Assange’s deprivation of liberty, respect his physical integrity and freedom of movement, and afford him the right to compensation.”
