Two New Rare Pelican Hatchlings join San Diego Zoo

Earlier, two rare pelican hatchlings took birth at San Diego. Now, the new little chicks have joined the family of birds bred in captivity. According to reports, the new chicks aged just two days and 11 days, and are members of the rare pelican species, the dalmatian pelican. The species is the one that grows the largest.

As per the reports, the largest specimen could be around 30 pounds in weight and six feet in length. In addition, it can feature a wingspan of about 12 feet.
