8 p.m., ABC: Galavant — If you’ve seen the stage show "Monty Python’s Spamalot," this new musical-comedy series’ approach will be familiar. Backed by a score by Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken ("Aladdin") and lyricist Glenn Slater ("Tangled"), the saga follows the quest of hero Galavant (Joshua Sasse) to even the score with King Richard (Timothy Omundson), who stole his true love (Mallory Jansen). Vinnie Jones also stars in the pilot. Another episode follows.
