Tropical Rain Forests Take In More CO2 Than We Give Them Credit For

A new study from NASA, in conjunction with the US National Center for Atmospheric Research suggests that the forests of Earth (the tropical rainforests) are responsible for absorbing more manmade carbon dioxide than we are currently giving them credit for.

In the face of global warming it is easy to simply say that the forests “aren’t doing their job,” but the new study actually says the opposite: that they are doing their job and then some.
