Trials start for the Vaccine to fight Ebola Virus

Vaccine trials to cure Ebola are to begin in Oxford. The first one of the 60 healthy volunteers will have injection of the vaccine. The vaccine has a minute amount of Ebola virus’ genetic material. It will be unable to cause the disease.

In normal routine years are spent in experiments for a new vaccine to be approved for use. But quite unusually in this case the experimental vaccine is being tracked at an astonishing fast pace due to the emergency situation.
